Shift speed in the 3×2 km relay at the Telekom Vivicittá! This challenge for 3-person teams offers an unforgettable experience, where each team member completes a 2 km segment. Running for a shared goal, you’ll not only push your own limits but also strengthen your team spirit. Online registration: On the BSI organizer’s online registration platform (entry.runinbudapest.com) until March 17th, 2026, at midnight (unless the participant limit is reached earlier). The invoice will be sent to you via email in .pdf format.

In-person registration: At the BSI events, at the information tent. On-site during the race number pick-up, following the schedule, if the participant limit has not been reached in advance.

Wheelchair and handbike racers can only register in advance, pre-registration is required.

  • Participants in the race include well-prepared runners, wheelchair athletes, handbike participants, as well as those running with baby strollers, who accept the event information and the registration conditions.
  • Wheelchair and handbike participants:
  • If completing the distance under their own power, they can start from the front of the field. They should line up on the route side of the starting gate, no later than 5 minutes before the start. They must sign a declaration upon entering the starting area, confirming that they will adhere to the rules and not overtake the lead motorcycle. They can start 1 minute before the official start time, accompanied by a lead motorcycle. However, until a designated point after the route has been finalized, they must follow behind the lead motorcycle. From that point onward, they can proceed at their own pace towards the finish line.
  • Wheelchair and handbike participants completing the distance with assistance:
  • They can line up in the designated zone based on the provided estimated pace. A participant who folds or obscures their bib number, or fails to wear it visibly during the race, may receive a 10-minute time penalty. A participant who repeatedly violates the bib number wearing rule, fails to complete the full designated course, provides inaccurate or incomplete information on the registration form, or uses the timing chip improperly, may face disqualification.
  • For the safety of themselves and fellow runners, it is not recommended for participants to wear both earphones, listening to music or any other audio device during the race.
  • Throughout the race, cycling, inline skating, biking with an accompanying cyclist, running without a bib number, and running with a dog are strictly prohibited.
  • Participants accompanied by a cyclist or inline skater may be disqualified from the race.
  • There is no storage of valuables at the event.
  • Any commercial and advertising activities at the event site can only be conducted with prior permission and in accordance with the agreed-upon form and manner by BSI.
  • Due to organizational reasons, BSI reserves the right to limit the number of participants and close registration at any time.
  • BSI reserves the right to make changes to the route and schedule.

Parking:

If you arrive by car:
You will find a paid parking lot on the Árpád Bridge side of Margaret Island.
The number of parking spaces is limited, so please arrive early.
Only park in places where it is permitted according to traffic regulations.

The race center will be set up in the tents opposite the bag drop area, on the grassy area between the Water Tower and Schulek Frigyes Promenade.

You can pick up your race bib at the race center at the following times:

Friday, March 20, 2026: 12:00–18:00
Saturday, March 21, 2026: 08:00–11:00

  • CHANGING ROOMS

The women’s changing room will be located on the first floor of the Margaret Island Water Tower, while the men’s changing room will be set up in tents at the Open-Air Stage.

  • BAG DROP

The bag drop area is located on the meadow after the packet pickup area, heading from the Water Tower toward Palatinus Beach.

Opening hours: 8:00–15:30

You may drop off 1 bag with a maximum size of 60 × 40 × 30 cm, no later than 15 minutes before the start.

When dropping off your bag, you will receive a numbered wristband.
The bag will only be returned to the person wearing the corresponding wristband.

Please note that we do not provide valuables storage at the bag drop.

  • BICYCLE PARKING

A supervised bicycle parking area will be available at the venue.

Opening hours: 8:00–18:00

  • TOILETS


Portable toilets will be placed throughout the event area.

You will also find portable toilets and urinals along the course and at the refreshment stations.

Water will be available for refreshment before the start and after crossing the finish line.

There is no timing on the Telekom Vivicittá individual festival distances.

For the 3-person relay, timing is measured using UHF chips attached to the relay baton.

If the relay baton is not returned by April 26, 10,000 HUF will be charged to the team captain’s account.

The official timing provider is AGNI-Timing.

To ensure that team results are recorded correctly, please follow the rules below:

Race Bib:

  • The race bib must be worn visibly on the chest or stomach throughout the race. (A bib belt is allowed.)

  • Each team member receives one race bib, displaying the team’s bib number and an index number from 1–3, corresponding to the running order.

  • The race bib must remain clearly visible during the race.

Relay Exchange:

  • Relay zones are located after passing through the finish gate.

  • The exchange must take place within the relay zone corresponding to the team’s bib number.

  • The relay zone extends from the directional sign pointing to the relay zone to the end of the final relay zone.

  • During the exchange, the relay baton containing the chip corresponding to the team’s bib number must be handed over to the next team member.

  • The 2nd and 3rd relay runners only need to enter the relay zone shortly before the estimated arrival of their teammate.

  • Team members who finish their leg but are not the final runner must leave the finish area by continuing along the course, then follow the instructions of the finish staff to reach the packet distribution area.

  • The 3rd runner must finish in the lane marked “FINISH”.

  • The relay baton will be collected from the finishing runner in the finish area before packet distribution.

There are no awards ceremony for the festival distances in the Telekom Vivicittá.

AFTER YOU FINISHED

The results will be continuously updated on the results list following the participants’ arrival at the finish line.

Participants without a placement number will appear on the results list if they do not have times recorded at one of the route checkpoints. Those who received a 10-minute time penalty for improper bib number wearing will have an asterisk (*) next to their name.
