Test yourself on the 2.4 km distance at the Telekom Vivicittá! This easy and accessible distance is the perfect choice if you want to enjoy the joy of running. Invite your friends or family and move together in step on the beautiful Margaret Island. Every participant will receive a unique finisher medal and the happiness that running brings. Online registration: On the BSI organizer’s online registration platform (entry.runinbudapest.com) until March 17th, 2026, at midnight (unless the participant limit is reached earlier). The invoice will be sent to you via email in .pdf format.

In-person registration: At the BSI events, at the information tent. On-site during the race number pick-up, following the schedule, if the participant limit has not been reached in advance.

Wheelchair and handbike racers can only register in advance, pre-registration is required.

  • Participants in the race include well-prepared runners, wheelchair athletes, handbike participants, as well as those running with baby strollers, who accept the event information and the registration conditions.
  • For the safety of themselves and fellow runners, it is not recommended for participants to wear both earphones, listening to music or any other audio device during the race.
  • Throughout the race, cycling, inline skating, biking with an accompanying cyclist, running without a bib number, and running with a dog are strictly prohibited.
  • Participants accompanied by a cyclist or inline skater may be disqualified from the race.
  • There is no storage of valuables at the event.
  • Any commercial and advertising activities at the event site can only be conducted with prior permission and in accordance with the agreed-upon form and manner by BSI.
  • Due to organizational reasons, BSI reserves the right to limit the number of participants and close registration at any time.
  • BSI reserves the right to make changes to the route and schedule.

Parking:

If you arrive by car:
You will find a paid parking lot on the Árpád Bridge side of Margaret Island.
The number of parking spaces is limited, so please arrive early.
Only park in places where it is permitted according to traffic regulations.

The race center will be set up in the tents opposite the bag drop area, on the grassy area between the Water Tower and Schulek Frigyes Promenade.

You can pick up your race bib at the race center at the following times:

Friday, March 20, 2026: 12:00–18:00
Saturday, March 21, 2026: 08:00–13:10

 
 
  • CHANGING ROOMS


The women’s changing room will be located on the first floor of the Margaret Island Water Tower, while the men’s changing room will be set up in tents at the Open-Air Stage.

  • BAG DROP


The bag drop area is located on the meadow after the packet pickup area, heading from the Water Tower toward Palatinus Beach.

Opening hours: 8:00–15:30

You may drop off 1 bag with a maximum size of 60 × 40 × 30 cm, no later than 15 minutes before the start.

When dropping off your bag, you will receive a numbered wristband.
The bag will only be returned to the person wearing the corresponding wristband.

Please note that we do not provide valuables storage at the bag drop.

  • BICYCLE PARKING


A supervised bicycle parking area will be available at the venue.

Opening hours: 8:00–18:00

  • TOILETS


Portable toilets
will be placed throughout the event area.

You will also find portable toilets and urinals along the course and at the refreshment stations.

Water will be available for refreshment before the start and after crossing the finish line.

There are no timing in this event. 

There are no awards ceremony for the festival distances in the Telekom Vivicittá.
